Abstract
The article highlights organization of practical training in the context of credit-modular system of education. Special attention was drawn to the importance of such form of training in the process of pharmacists’ education. The experience of practical training at the Department of Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapy at Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University was presented. The experience was aimed at the development of skills in appropriate pharmaceutical care of various categories of patients, clinical thinking for selecting patients requiring doctor’s consultation, solutions of problems concerning adequate replacement of drugs, drugs interaction, interaction of drugs with food, ways of polypharmacy elimination, reducing the risk of adverse reactions, communicative skills of future pharmacists. Features of students’ current achievements evaluation and final modular control were provided.
