Prosthetic dentistry consists of general and specialized courses. The anatomical and physiological features of the masticatory apparatus, general and special methods of diagnostics, symptoms and semiotics of the disease, dental materials science, laboratory and prosthetic appliances are taught in general course. A specialized course consists of three main sections – dental prosthetics, maxillofacial orthopedics and orthodontics. Complexity in learning this discipline is that there are clinical and technical stages of restoration. This greatly complicates the teaching foreign students and requires a special approach. This method of training involves oral questioning of students, test control and practical skills. It should be noted that maxillofacial orthopedics is closely associated with surgical dentistry and therefore requires special attention and taking into consideration complex methods of treatment. Therefore, different methods of presenting information such as lectures, essays, multimedia presentations, phantoms, educational videos and others should be used to optimize training. Special attention should be paid to the teaching and demonstration of technical stages of maxillofacial devices manufacturing. It requires highly qualified teacher, perfect knowledge of subject, and mastering foreign language for accessible presentation. </p>}, number={4}, journal={Galician Medical Journal}, author={Sidorenko, L.
